An alternative vision of how Seer Studio could look like. We focused heavily on using beautiful and abstract imagery to connect our points more to the user. If we were targeting more creative and artistic clients we would have used this version, however during a strategy session we all agreed that this approach would polarise too much of our potential target audience.
Seer Studio was meant to be an inspiring endeavour that sought to work with “world changers”. But we had no idea how it should look like, feel like, whether it should be light or dark, look similar to the competition or not. We had no idea how it’s all meant to look like, sound like and who it would ultimately appeal to.
After much consideration this version of Seer Studio was all about using powerful imagery to inspire action and clarify various aspects of the company. This direction clearly shows “who” Seer Studio is through carefully curated images that are cohesive to the brand. Additionally the language, tone and copy used was meant to further inspire, whilst clarifying aspects of the company.
Whilst we personally loved this direction, we also carefully considered the risks posed by it. Ultimately Seer Studio is meant to be more approachable than the direction allowed it to be. The images might inspire some individuals but this ultimately was a matter of personal taste to us. Yes, it did represent who we are. But it also did not represent who we want to work with. So whilst making a fantastic practice project, it ultimately requires further revisions; The result of which should be the website you’re currently visiting!
